FAMILY READING WORKSHOP presented by Words in the Wild, hosted by Project Literacy and Families Read Together

Workshop for parents & caregivers of children from 3rd to 8th grades; craft program for children aged 10-14 

Discover fun and easy ways to keep your kids reading this summer! Learn how to support your children as they grow into skillful readers. This workshop teaches research-based strategies to support literacy skills at home -- discover realistic, joyful, accessible activities that work with your busy life, and foster a love of reading and writing in your children.

While adults attend the workshop, school-age children can attend a simultaneous craft program. This event includes a free children's book and a take-home dinner.
