Summer Reading Buddies 1:30 pm reading session Online
Kids in grades 1-5 can practice their reading with a friendly teen volunteer. During the zoom session, kids will read from an ebook for 25 minutes. The teen is there to encourage and help readers with difficult words. Reading is an important activity to help kids grow and learn. Reading Buddies is a fun way to engage young readers. Practice x Effort = Success! Don't forget to join the San Leandro Public Library's Summer Reading Program. Plus, the reading you do during your reading session you can apply towards the reading program.
