Lavender Seniors: Archive Exhibit Opening and Reception In-Person

Join us for the opening reception of Lavender Seniors Archive, an exhibit celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Lavender Seniors. This special event honors the group’s enduring impact on LGBTQ+ older adults in our community. Developed in collaboration with the Oakland LGBTQ Center, the exhibit highlights three decades of advocacy, connection, and care. Enjoy light refreshments, explore the display, and hear a few words from those who helped shape this important history.

 

This event will take place at the Main Library located at 300 Estudillo Ave. Exhibit reveal will be in the History Room on the 2nd floor and the reception will be in the Karp room.
